Job Title: Business Development Officer
Department: Sales & Business Development
Reporting to: Head of Sales
Job Summary: The Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying and responding to tender opportunities, preparing submissions, representing the company, and supporting other administrative tasks.
Main Responsibilities:
Continuously monitor tender websites to identify relevant RFQs/RFPs that match company capabilities (UNGM/ACBAR).
Lead market research and pricing inputs for tender responses.
Prepare comprehensive tender responses and submissions.
Manage client relationships during the tendering process.
Represent the company in tender meetings and bid openings.
Maintain records of all tender documents and correspondence.
Analyze tender outcomes and report on performance.
Go to Ministry offices to submit quarterly tax sheets.
Complete other administrative tasks as assigned by manager.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
3+ years experience in tender proposal development
Excellent English language skills (written and spoken)
Ability to speak Pashto and Dari
Strong research, analysis, and writing abilities
Proficient in MS Office suite and computer applications
Self-motivated with ability to work remotely/from home
Professional presentation and communication skills
Remain calm under pressure and when dealing with anger
Available for task orders 3-4 times per week
